Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, PASAN Praises Delta Speaker

Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, PASAN, Delta State Chapter on Wednesday described the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Monday Igbuya as a man of excellence and integrity.

The organization also scored the leadership of the assembly high.

Chairman of PASAN, Delta State, Comrade Emmanuel Edozie noted that the expectation of workers from the government were justifiably high but explained that the Delta State House of Assembly had a speaker who is committed to doing things right.

“The Rt. Hon Speaker and other members of the Delta State House of Assembly are honourable people,” he said.

Edozie who spoke during a special meeting of the workers in Asaba praised the speaker and others for facilitating the payment of 2016 outfit allowance and outstanding benefits to deceased staff.

“There is peace in the House of Assembly,” the chairman said.

He attributed paucity of funds to the inability of the state government to meet the demands of parliamentary staff.

He urged workers to allow the leadership of the assembly to move the state forward through the passage of bills and oversight functions.
