Go And Warn Your Clients, EFCC Tells NBA

Wilson Ujuwaren, Abuja: Legal practitioners across the country have been charged to always give good and practical advice to their clients and the general public on the ills and consequences of engaging in financial and economic crimes and corruption.

The charge was given by the Zonal Head, South East zone of the EFCC, Johnson Babalola on when he received a delegation of the Enugu State chapter of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) who paid him a courtesy call at the Commission’s office at Independence Layout, Enugu.

“Go talk to your clients and let them know we have a job to do and a country to salvage from the stranglehold of corruption,” Babalola declared.

Similarly, the EFCC on September 27, 2016, organised a one day training for media practitioners in Abuja.

The program titled: EFCC Media Fight Against Corruption, is aimed at bringing the members of the fourth estate of the realm to the global new trends in reporting economic and financial crimes.

“Please, let’s join hands to make Nigeria a better place for all” This was the message of the Ag. Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu while pleading with journalists as he delivers a keynote address during a one day training session for journalists covering economic and financial crimes beat.
