Screening of 2000 Applicants For NIS Jobs

Ekpedeme King, Abuja: The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) wishes to inform the public, particularly the 2000 applicants for employment into the NIS whose names were earlier published in the Leadership Newspaper of 15th August and ThisDay Newspaper of 16th August, 2016 that the screening exercise of the applicants will take place as scheduled at the NIS Headquarters, Abuja by 09:00am daily.

Please note that background checks is a normal practice globally when recruiting personnel into military and para-military agencies. Failureto submit oneself for screening would be regarded as withdrawal of interest in the recruitment exercise.

I am further directed to reiterate that this is NOT a fresh recruitment exercise. Therefore, NO application for employment should be forwarded to the NIS, please
