Ustaz Abubakar Sideeq Charges Muslims on Ramadan
Muslims have been challenged to use the holy month of Ramadan to pray for peace and stable economy in Nigeria.
An Islamic cleric, Ustaz Abubakar Sideeq gave the charge at this year’s Ramadan lecture by Al-habibiyyah Islamic society held in Abuja.
The month of Ramadan is usually the time when these people from different tribes, socio economic background, the haves and the have-nots, come together to interact and promote the course of Islam.
Al habibiyyah Islamic society is providing the platform.
Speaking on the topic Ramadan; modeling change, a cleric Abubakar Sideeq Muhammed urged Muslim faithful to embrace the spiritual benefits associated with the month of Ramadan to pray for the good of the country
Other speakers commented on the topic and the need for believers to follow the path of change in their endeavor.
The Ramadan lecture feature special prayers for the nation to overcome its challenges, and to also commit the life of former Chief Justice of the Federation, Mohammed Lawal Uwais to God as he clocks 80 years.
