Gbajabiamila Congratulates Dogara for His Victory and Emergence as Speaker

Former minority leader in the 7th National Assembly and member representing Surulere –one Federal Constituency Femi Gbajabiamila of APC has congratulated House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara and Deputy Speaker Yussuf Sulaimon Lasun following their vctory and emergence as Presiding officers of the House.

Representative Gbajabiamila lost by a narrow margin of 8 votes last Tuesday to the speaker Yakubu Dogara.

The former minority leader urged his colleagues to rally round the speaker on the understanding

that the Dogara leadership would provide quality legislation that would provide the checks and balances for constitutional Democracy to be achieved.

More groups from different states of the Federation have continued to express their support for the new leadership.

In his reaction, Speaker Yakubu Dogara promised to deliver the needed stability for effective performance of the legislature.
