The Membership of the cults cut across students,artisans, civil servants, business men, public office holders and professionals in other areas of life. They belong to different confraternities including Black Axe , Bukania, Aiye, Jusrist and all other confraternities

Meanwhile, the IGP Solomon Arase has reassured Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose that the police has raised a special squad to deal with the issues of cultism and kidnappers in the state.
The suspects who are leaders of various cult confraternities are now being interrogated for their conspiratorial involvement in the murder of ten Nigerians including Ojo Aye, 55 and Constance Iyola 23, an apprentice decorator.
