Senate Commends Jonathan and Buhari Over Peaceful Election

The Senate has formally commended President Goodluck Jonathan for the maturity and statesmanship displayed by conceding defeat at the last Presidential election thereby saving the nation from breakdown of law and order.
The President of the Senate David Mark who announce this while welcoming Senators from recess also appreciated the President-elect Muhammadu Buhari for the conciliatory statements that further re-inforced the unity and people of the Country.
