Police Community Relations Committee and Nigeria Police Hold Seminar On Safe 2015 Election

To ensure comprehensive security during the General Elections and a safer and secured society at all levels the police community relations committee, PCRC and the Nigeria police held a one day summit on security awareness, before and after election violence.

The seminar which is dwelt on training and retraining is focused on optimum utilization of the  PCRC in maintaining law and order.

The IGP represented by AIG in-charge of training said the contribution of the PCRC through information and intelligence gathering as well as process has become an inevitable component of the Nigeria Police force.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Commissioner of police incharge of community policing,explained that the decision to implement community policing, Etop John James explained that the decision to implement community policing nationwide is to improve service delivery by growing police civil relationship.

The importance attached to this strategy made the IGP Suleiman Abba to elevate community policing to a command status.
