Sultan Of Sokoto & Cardinal Onaiyekan Cautions Against Skewing Religion For Political Gains

The Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III and Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, John Cardinal Onaiyekan have
cautioned politicians against manipulation of religion for political gains but rather push for peaceful and free and fair conduct of the election this month.

This was during a media briefing by Interfaith Initiative for peace an non-governmental organization jointly founded by the two
religious leaders.
