Local Government Autonomy And Independent Candidacy

Granting autonomy to local government areas and independent candidacy are part of the proposed amendments to the 1999 Constitution by the National Assembly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As the Federal Lawmakers await resolutions on amendments from the thirty-six State Houses of Assembly there is a call for people with experience and character to participate in running local governments.
