NIGHT LIVES RETURNS TO MAIDUGURI METROPILIS

In the past one year night time activities  in Maiduguri metropolis best be  described as less than normal due to explosions and attacks on military formations but these have not deterred people from going about their normal businesses or official work especially during the day. The normalcy being experienced during the day has gradually been extended to night time activities. Night time activities are gradually returning in the state capital, Maiduguri.

FEC ON NATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

The Federal Executive Council says the federal government is impressed by the overall outlook of performance in the first three years of the first national implementation plan towards the realization of vision 20-20-20. Information minister Labaran Maku while addressing Journalists on the outcome of the council meeting says the colossal amount of money being spent on fighting insurgency in the north east zone could be channeled to a more developmental project with positive impact on the lives of trhe citizenry.

All the gubernatorial candidates in the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti state have been implored to emphasize issue and eschew all manner of violence in their campaigns. This was part of the consensus at a sensitization workshop organized by the office of the Presidential Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs held in Ado Ekiti.
