DEFENCE HQ ON TRAFFIC

The Defense Headquarters has assured the public that the gridlock on Nyanya- Abuja highway is not a measure meant to inconvenience road users.

A statement by the Director Defence information Major Gen. Chris Olukolade states that the actions are necessitated by the emerging security threats facing the nation which calls for support and understanding.

The statement indicates that the measure will be reviewed as more equipment and additional support are introduced.
