IPU Conference Opens in Geneva

Renewing commitment to peace and democracy is the focus of the 130^th Assembly of Inter-Parliamentary Union now underway in Geneva Switzerland.  Senate President David Mark is leading Nigerian Parliamentarians at the conference which coincides with the 125^th Anniversary of the oldest Multi-Lateral Organization in the world.
