Senate President Condoles Iyayi Family

Senate President David Mark has lamented over the sudden death of the former President of ASUU Dr. Festus Iyayi saying Nigerian has lost an academic giant. In his message of condolence, Senator Mark noted with nostalgia the frank and contributions of the deceased towards ending the on-going ASUU strike and addressing the ills in the education Sector during their meeting last week. The Senate President who sympathized with the University Community, the Government and People of Edo State over the loss, prayed God to grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
