Insurgents Attacks Security Forces in Yobe

Some insurgents on Thursday evening attacked a Military Checkpoint, a Mobile Police Unit and a Police area command office in Yobe State with heavy Military hardware. 21 terrorists were killed, 3 vehicles, 4 AK47 and assorted riffles, bomb and 709 rounds of ammunition were recovered. Meanwhile, the 3 Division Special Operation Battalion has review the 24 hour curfew in Yobe State with immediate effect from Saturday 26th October. The curfew commence from 4 pm to 7 am daily across the State.
