Jonathan Congratulates Emir Bayero

President Goodluck Jonathan has conveyed warm felicitations to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero on the occasion of the monarch’s Eighty-Third Birthday Anniversary today. A statement by Presidential Spokesman, Reuben Abati, explained that in a congratulatory letter to the Emir, President Jonathan extolled his uncommon leadership qualities and prayed that God Almighty will grant him many more years of service to the people of Kano and Nigeria.

President Jonathan noted that Alhaji Ado Bayero only recently marked Fifty years of unqualified success on the throne as the Emir of Kano and that his evident faith in the peace, unity, progress and prosperity of our dear nation have combined to make him one of our most highly respected monarchs in Nigeria today. On behalf of his family, the Government and people of Nigeria, President Jonathan prayed that Almighty Allah grants him many more years of abounding health, prosperity and enduring fulfillment.
