PDP Rescinds Suspension of Wamakko

The Peoples Democratic Party National Working Committee (NWC) has rescinded its decision to suspend Governor Aliyu Magartarkada Wamakko of Sokoto State for alleged insubordination. The National Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur revealed this after a meeting with the PDP Governors Forum in Abuja.

Alhaji Bamanga says the Party will continue to uphold rule of law and also follow the Party’s laid down procedure. Meanwhile, the PDP has fixed Thursday, the 28th of June, 2013 as the date for its National Executive Council Meeting.
