VP Attends Wedding in Katsina

Vice President Muhammad Namadi Sambo was among hundreds of dignitaries that witnessed the wedding fatiha between the son of the National Chairman of the PDP Mohammed Bamanga Tukur, and the daughter of a prominent engineer Dr. Badiyya Ibrahim. The wedding fatihah, held at the Palace of the Emir of Katsina, was presided over by the Chief Imam of Katsina Central Mosque Sheikh Lawal Imam.

After the announcement of the payment of a fifty thousand naira dowry, and the Sigah between the father of the bride Ibrahim Yusuf Suleiman and the representative of the groom Dr. Garba Madama, prayers were offered for a successful married life to the new couple, and for peace and unity in the country. The Vice President Namadi Sambo was accompanied by Ministers, special advisers to the President and many other dignitaries. The Vice President has since returned to Abuja.
