Nigeria – UN Fight Terrorism

Minister of State Defence Olusola Obada said the creation of the Cameroon-Nigeria Mixed Commission, which is a platform brokered by the United Nations to bring the two countries together to resolve grey areas has made significant impact.

The UN Secretary General Special Representative said he is in Nigeria to strengthen Partnership between the two countries and to identify areas of collaboration with the UN to stop trans-border crimes in the sub-region.

Nigeria and Cameroon share extensive land and maritime borders that are not only porous but are also inadequately Manned by the Security Agencies of the two countries.
