The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar says the Judiciary would maintain a zero tolerance policy to all negative attitudes that could bring the third arm of Government into disrepute.
With the Theme: Law and Society, 100 Years of Legal Development in Nigeria” the Law Summit in the next 3 days will be providing a veritable forum for Nigerians to re-examine the Laws that brought the Nation into being while looking at the ways the Law can impact positively on the citizenry. For that to happen, the Chief Justice of Nigeria said the Judiciary must first purge itself of all negative traits.
Other speakers commended the idea of the Centenary Law Summit saying it will help all the three arms of Government.
President Goodluck Jonathan inspected the picture exhibition depicting Nigerian Law one hundred years later.
