Hajiya Ciroma Takes Over as MD NIWA

The Federal Government through the transformation agenda is working assiduously towards actualizing the dredging of the River Benue to compliment the River Niger in providing adequate, sustainable and safe means of water transportation in the country. This came to the fore when the former Minister of Women Affairs and PDP National Women Leader, Hajiya Ina Maryam Ciroma took over the mantle of leadership as the new Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority in Lokoja.
