First Lady in Sierra Leone

Nigeria’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, has arrived in Sierra Leone where she is attending the launch of the Country’s National Strategy on Teenage Pregnancy Prevention.

A statement from the Special Assistant Media to the Office of the First Lady, says Dame Patience Jonathan is expected to deliver a keynote address on the role of Traditional and Religious Leaders in the Prevention of Teenage Pregnancy. The statement adds that Sierra Leone’s President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma will preside over the three day event, championed by Mrs Sia Nyama Koroma, the First Lady of Sierra Leone.

On the First Lady’s entourage are wives of the Governors of Oyo State, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, Gombe State, Hajiya Adama Ibrahim Dankwambo and Bayelsa State, Mrs Rachael Dickson.
