Committee Formed for Traditional Medicine Bill

Efforts to accelerate the passage of the traditional medicine bill by the National Assembly has led to the composition of an advocacy committee that is expected to drive the process. President of the National Associated of Nigerian Traditional Medicine Practitioners, Prof Omon Oleabhiele presided over the inauguration of the committee which was done at the Federal Ministry of Health in Abuja. Membership of the committee is drawn from the executives of media houses, that National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research & Development and other areas.
