Shackles

Shackles is a new hour long drama that airs Saturdays at 17:00 with repeat episodes on Monday at 22:30. The series is about families who go through the rigors of social deprivations such as early marriage, lack of economic and political power, street hawking and all the experiences of ‘the Almajiri’, all sewn together and unfolding on women, children and the main character. Eventually they are able through resilience to break out of their SHACKLES.
