The NTA News 24 which started in 2009, was set up to be a 24 hour news programme, with emphasis on Nigerian News. With a forty year old experience, NTA News 24 have the most comprehensive News archival materials in the country, and this has largely been the main stay of the News channel. This is a 24 hour news channel with comprehensive coverage of breaking news of local and International events. It also packages current affairs programmes, special reports and documentaries on topical issues as it affects the economy, political and social spheres of Nigeria. News 24 transmits on channel 101 on the Star Times platform
